Who can use the CBE Core Labs at MSU?

Our facilities offer services to MSU researchers, students, external academics, nonprofits, and commercial/industrial clients. We provide one-on-one training, method development, proposal writing, troubleshooting, and data analysis services to help you meet your analytical and bioimaging needs.

Our staff are highly trained and specialized experts with Ph.D.'s in biofilm science. Our Bioimaging and Analytical Core labs are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and methods to provide you with the best results and images of your biofilm or other complex samples.

On-site and External Use

We encourage on-site use by novice to expert researchers, including MSU students, faculty, and staff or external commercial, governmental, or academic users. Onsite users can either take training (see below) that will allow them to work independently on CBE instrumentation, or CBE staff can run the instrument for you while you participate in the data acquisition process in real-time.
